VR Usage Simulation – GZO Spital Wetzikon
Concept and development of a VR-based usage simulation with a focus on operative workflows and spatial contexts within a clinical environment.
The goal of the project was the realistic visualization and analysis of clinical processes in treatment and operating areas. Particular emphasis was placed on simulating medical equipment, instruments, and their interaction within the space.
The application enabled early evaluation of workflows, testing of usage scenarios, and identification of potential optimizations in both spatial and functional design.
Development and implementation of application features within a VR-based simulation environment
Creation and optimization of 3D assets for clinical and operative contexts
On-site data capture, contextual analysis, and integration of spatial and process-related information
Research and translation of medical equipment and workflows into functional simulation components
Client support (1st and 2nd level), including troubleshooting and guidance for VR hardware and software setups
Remote coordination and communication with stakeholders (e.g. workshops, onboarding, and support sessions)
Contribution to iterative testing, validation, and refinement of simulation scenarios
